some news highlights 2021-2022
2020 and 2021 has been a very stange time for just about everyone. With the cancellation of live performances and rehearsals, like many musicians I have got involved with making/appearing in videos and appearing on live jams, which has been great fun and hard work in equal measure! Here are a few of them:
Now it's 2022 and live music is happening again, but we're still making videos :)

April 2021 -Exciting news, Tom’s polished up lockdown album is out! The tracks have all been remixed and can be found in the usual digital places (see below for a few links) but he has actual CD copies available now complete with lyrics too - please get in touch with one of us to get one. I know I’m biased, but he’s written a set of beautiful songs, wonderfully performed by him (with a few guests) guaranteed to make you cry and maybe laugh. Thank you.

June 21 -The lockdown months has had many of us make off the wall creative things - commissioned by Helen Walker, Gerald The Sheep has produced this fine self portrait. Rendered in soft pastels the work depicts the artist himself as a young lamb. The entire process was documented in this video. The musical accompaniment is an extract from "A Place To Go" from my album "A Place To Go".
Nov 21 -The new album "Diamonds And Stars" is now finished, available in all the usual places. There is a video for one of the songs "This Long Happy Life". It's been very interesting making this during the pandemic times.
Dec 2021 -A lot of fun was had helping Karma Music make his brilliant song "Christmas With You".
Feb 2021 -Musicians found themselves doing all sorts online to keep ourselves amused and still playing. This is part of the Soul Blues challenge set up by Mitch Laddie
Happy Christmas 2021! A 2021 version of 'The Christmas Tree' (which first appeared on the 2018 album "Poppies"). Performed by Julian Gaskell, of Julian Gaskell & his Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, known as "The wildest voice in Cornwall". With Bridget Enever on sax, me on trumpet and piano, and a cameo from Penny C the dog.

Feb 2022 -I had a lot of fun producing Karma Music's lovely song "No One Could Take Your Place".
2022 - wonderful normal music life is resuming! There has been little time for music writing as I have been busy with so much music playing, so here are just a few examples:
2022 - a tiny contribution to The Bamboo Fringe's latest album:
