Make The Most Of Everything
Release date: 15th November 2024.
This sixth solo album contains a new mixture of 12 stories, some real, some fiction, all inspired by real-life events; from songs appreciating the wonderful natural world, to the idiosyncrasies of human behaviour.
Although some of the subject matter is about loss, the over-riding theme of the album is about appreciation, strength and hope, intending to impart songs of comfort and positivity. Even the sadder songs have messages of hope and renewal in them.
The songs are largely soul/jazz/folk tinged pop.
Thanks once more to Tom Cantwell (guitar and additional vocals), to Linda Campbell (additional vocals), and to Jon Astley at Close to The Edge Mastering and Cadiz music.

The Wine That Warmed Our Thoughts - a tale of the last night before going to war, but ultimately one of hope.
